Another beginning of October, dedicated to Pansini in his hometown Korčula. Besides the curatorial work for grown ups, this year we have a workshop on experimental cinema for children — a group of 4 and 5 yr olds initiated into the liberated cinema and the fantastic cinematic worlds of Mihovil Pansini.

Film projects left unfinished; films that remained unseen; film ideas realised in non-filmic media: The heterogenous materialities and precarious traces of these practices upset the notions of what cinema consists of. A film undone is both less and more than “a film”; the dispersed elements, not integrated into a final format, are also evidence of an extensive labour process, exceeding its expected result.
